The Cruise 3.0 suitcase is 100% polycarbonate and features a matte finish. Polycarbonate is a strong, impact-resistant material that’s been used in airline and luggage design for decades. It has great resilience against cracking and scratching. The soft-touch, matte finish on the exterior also helps to hide scuffs and scratches better than a glossy, hard shell. This soft-rolling suitcase also has a very modern and streamlined design that feels upscale and high-quality. It’s surprisingly light, for its level of strength.
I just recently purchased the DELSEY PARIS 28-inch checked luggage in platinum. The durable hard-shell case is made of polycarbonate that is lightweight and fairly resilient to scratching, light scuffs, and dings.

The quality is easy to spot and cruise rolling the case around the airport or on bumpy cobblestone sidewalks in Europe is a breeze. The wheels smoothly roll in all directions, so no matter where you start pulling, they glide forward with ease.
The telescopic handle is adjustable to several different heights and wobbles very little, which is a huge bonus when weaving through a busy airport or pushing luggage behind you at a crowded train station. The Cruise 3.0 also includes top, side, and bottom handles to make lifting into cars and onto baggage scales easy. All handles are wide and padded for secure, comfortable gripping.
