Coolife does a good job with this aspect. When I first opened the box and removed all the packaging and paper material, I was impressed by the glossy finish and sturdy feel of the set. It’s sleek, modern and has a high-end shine and build that I would expect at higher price points. I picked the bright yellow set, but the available color range was also visually pleasing. I definitely won’t have a hard time spotting my luggage when I am at the baggage carousel.

Material Quality

Coolife uses 100% ABS for its shell. It is neither too heavy nor too flimsy and I like that as I can carry it around with ease. The material doesn’t compromise on durability and I can confirm that from my own experiences. The outer ABS shells were made to withstand the common bumps, scuffs and scratches during air travels. For comparison, the typical polycarbonate shell is a lot thicker but also a lot heavier. It also does not have the same gloss as ABS material. After handling and a few months, it is normal to see slight scuffs and marks.
